For centuries, forest honey has been consumed, traded and used as a food and medicine. An organic natural sugar, honey has been used worldwide for thousands of years. In India, Ayurvedic and Unani medicines have been using honey as a vital medicine for various ailments. In ancient Egypt honeycombs were preserved and buried in the tombs of the pharaohs.
